the wheelbase of a 1/10th scale touring car is a little less than a foot and width is usually 190mm or 200mm(7-8 inches)

i'm not familiar with the other stuff yet sorry

I messured it out using the specs that were given on the site thats not a very big car, do they make any touring cars that are bigger then this? are they wide? i mean i couldn't understand the specs it never gave a width, 1 for the back and one for the front i noticed that the front is wider then the back so i couldn't figure out if it was right. Anyways thanks, could someone take a picture and like show it up agaist something. thanks.

you can go 1/8 1/5 1/4 but the bigger it gets teh smaller your wallet gets

1/10 starts which means it can go alot higher at about 2-300, 1/8 about 3-500 and so on

If you want bigger, but still relatively inexpensive for a touring car, buy a HPI Super Nitro. It is more like 1/9th scale, uses many of the 1/10th size parts, and most of all, it is a much easier car to driver due to its longer wheebase, wider track and bigger tires. I have Super Nitro with and OS .12 CVR motor, two speed, thick diff lube in the diffs, Robinson Race brake, and C-10 tires. I run the Toyota GT1 body on it which has a distinct aero advantage. It flat hauls. The car is superb. All cars should be this larger size, there would be a lot more people racing and fewer parts would be broken.

speaking of aerodynamics and having a good body like the GT1

what is your oppinion or what facts could you give me in selecting the sleekest or smoothest body for a 1/10 scale car but yet gives plenty of down force??

what do you think fo the chrylser 200m body or the volvo s60 or the 2001 honda civic coupe all by proline

    thanks

The Chrysler body is quite neutral. I haven't any experience with the Volvo. I am currently running the Vauxhall TC body (190 mm) with extremely good luck. It is well balanced and predictable.
