Well I see the bandit got a new look. I wonder if the E-maxx is next? It is the only electric that has not been touched.

Instead of them updating the E-maxx, how cool would it be to have a factory E-revo. Thats what i want to see.

Yeah but that would make it a whole new truck. The E-maxx needs an update as well. The E-revo seem to be on the new release list because everyone wants one.

We're talking a bit about this in the Rustler/Bandit forum. The new body and tires makes me want one! Sure got updated in the looks department! Power department too! Hmm... I sold my other Bandit not to long ago... I'm sure I could make some room for another vehicle! Now if I just had the extra money to spend!

I agree with you there. I don't think I'm going to wait for Traxxas though. I think I'm going to find a Revo roller and build one.

I think that traxxas realy realy realy realy needs to build an E-revo. If they did that, i could have a stampede basher and an e-revo racer!!. I think that the reason that they are taking so long to make one is, they didn't want to put the old e-maxx titan on it so they have to make new motors and stuff. That would be cool if traxxas teamed up with castlecreations and put a mamba maxx system on it!!!!

They don't have it listed yet on Tower so it may be a couple of weeks until it hits the shelves.

I think the bandit might be on my list of rewards for good grades

Well the spirit is not a big seller so I don't know if they will do anything(only time will tell) but the 4tec did have a revision in 2005 as well as the bandit but the E-maxx has not been touched since 2000

im getting a feeling the spirit is gonna be discontinued. but yea the 4-tec and emaxx need to be updated. the emaxx needs the new grey chassis and the 4-tec needs a better motor since the old bandit and new stampede and rustler can outrun it.

brushless emaxxs and revos would cost too much to produce. most rtr's come with lower power motors/engines for a reason, and that is because most people who get rc vehicles are new to the sport and arent very familiar with how they work. and putting lower powered motors and engines gives the owner a chance to upgrade to a higher power engine/motor. the same thing goes for the plastic parts. making the chassis out of all aluminum would jack the price way up and a lot of people wouldnt be willing to buy them if it was their rc. and whats the point of buying a completely upgraded rc car? half the fun is working on them and installing new parts!

I would like to see an e-revo, but to make an e-revo they have alot more to deal with i think they will just stick with a new version of the emaxx.

Well, maybe if enough of us ask for it, traxxas will go e-revo. It makes sense to make what your customers ask for. Its a good indication it will make you money. 1 vote for me.

COOL!! they updated it in the same week in which i got a response from them from the letter i sent them!!!

i guess they were already done with it by the time they read my letter.
