    Lipo Battery Question

    just got a lipo battery in the mail today and was wondering if there is anything i should do to the battery before running it so i don't damage anything. thanks

    Just balance charge it at 1C charge rate
    Pretty please, with sugar on top, clean the RC car

    I would always charge at 1C but opinions differ on whether to balance every single charge. I always do because it's good practice and easy to do. Also store the battery at 3.8-3.85V per cell when not in use.

    Batteries should come with a instruction sheet explaining their care and maintenance. Best to follow what the manufacturer recommends. If you have questions beyond what came with the pack you should contact the manufacturer.
