Traxxas Snowmobile???

Who thinks Traxxas should make a snowmobile?

I don't mean a cheap one either. I mean they should make a Hardcore race snowmobile that can stand the beatting that a T-Maxx and Revo can take!

I doubt that they will make something that will not work in all climate areas, but I like the idea!

I agree with cooleocool. There are more people on here asking for an 1/8th scale buggy or truggy and minis and all that stuff. The climates flucuate so much that there will just be a small window of oppritunity to run it. The only kind of know specific rc that i know of is made by Kyosho and i don't know if those are doing too well.

That's not just for snow... They actually brought that one back into production after being discontinued for a while, if we're talking about the same tracked vehicle.

The blizzard? I dont see any way traxxas could fully devlope a rc snowmobile when their in texas.

IS anybody up for traxxas to make both GAS and ELECtric Snowmobiles?
If we can get enough request though REPLIES to THIS thread they might consider it!!!
If they made them with the same Quailty as the Maxx trucks they would be Awesome!!!

Yes a snow toy I would love to have one. Traxxas should make them, I would bhramaputra a buyer for sure but i think stability would be a problem. But its a great idea for sure.....

If it was just as big as the Maxx Trucks I don't think Stability would be an issue at all.

I always thought a snow cat or groomer like the blizzard.they ask now and then what you think they should come out with,I always say "somthing with tracks" traxxas/tracks.......It kinda goes hand in hand...!!!

Or it could be one of the snowmobiles that can drive on water snow and sand or maybe be able to get wheels for the front and use it in dirt to

Yeah it should be able to do everything a real one can do like drive on water if you got it pinned.

I had one almost imposable to turn. The skis just want to go straight when you turn on packed snow and had a hard time running on powdered snow they're just to light.

Here in Costa Rica we don't have snow.

It can get pretty nasty in the Cerro de la Muerte and it does snow very rarely but it never sticks. A brushless waterproof backhoe would be better for you.

Haha, That's true.
A backhoe is a good idea, or an amphibian car, for all the rains fall in the year. right now is the rain season(Here we only have 2: summer and rainy), bad week for my T-Maxx.

Really? When I made my new bright sled brushless (vxl) I didn't have that problem at all.
Just need the weight in the front and a powerful servo. Maybe a dual 2075 setup.

i made one that i bought new for $50 into an xl-5 machine, it lasted about 2 days before the track broke it was actually fast but i never got to do anything cool with it because the center of gravity was WAY up (i had to mount the battery on top of the seat) so it would tip over before i could get it anywhere.
i WOULD buy a new traxxas snowmobile. if it had a good suspension system it would be going over jumps constantly.
although, it would need to be nitro just for sound effects.

i thought about making a t-maxx into a snowmobile but the custom milling would cost a fortune, which i don't have (yet!)
