    Couple of mods- still wheelies!!!

    Hey everyone,
I just bought a Jato 3.3 and love it. I took the advice from the hobby shop and installed Moabs and took the battery pack off the rear end, installed the bumper instead of the wheelie bar and got a flat battery pack and installed it in the middle of the car. This thing rockets from a standstill but still pulls the front wheels up and will wheelie all te way through first gear. This thing has to be completly uncontrollable with the battery pack on the rear and adding more weight back there. I'm glad I did the "mods" because it makes the truck handle better and I can still have fun doing wheelies if I want to. **** I love this thing!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, the Jato is a great truck. Once wheelies get boring (it may be a little while) take it off some jumps.

yeah it will do that. all that power no matter what you do you will always wheelies at some point either at the begining when you launch or in 2nd gear when your flying past 55mph. but like jbiv said once they get boring fly it off some jumps.

Better get a wing or something on it, 2nd gear wheelie will sent you sliding down the road on your lid.

    The wingmount is really nice.

The mount connects to the shock tower and tranny by 2 screws.

broke a tranny case yet due to the mounting location of the wing?
If it doesn't break you're not driving it right.
