    brushless motor

    hi i am new to elect and i have a brushless motor my question is when i turn the motor over by hand it seems very clicky is this normal cheers Chris

    Sounds like the bearings are shot, or the rotor is gone. Go to RC Monster.com, they can tell you for sure.

    Mine does the same thing as long as it isn't making a noise.

    What motors? They should not "click" at all. there may be some resistance from the magnet, but no "clicking"

    I think he is talking about the magnets, when you turn the rotor it it feels like a cam. That is what I'm talking about.

    yes when you turn it seems to turn stages it is quite hard to put down in words

    Don't BL motors work better if you run them with a BL controller instead of turning them by hand?

    yes your correct but i bought this motor used and just wanted to no if this was normal

    If you are new to something don't let the replies of others stop you from asking questions, cause eventually you'll get the answer you're looking for. It's not like brushless & lipo's have been out there that long and if it has, everyone sure hasn't touched one.
