    CVD axle

Well, I clipped a steel post with my rear wheel going full throttle on a 7 cell IB4200 pack. Bent my MIP cvd axle, broke my gearbox and bent the rear arm pin. Ouch! Does anyone know where I can get a replacement axle. I have looked everywhere I know about and the only place I can find one is at MIP but you cant order online and I think it will be more expensive there. Thanks

I'd just go back to the stock shafts... CVD's are a pain in the rear.

The MIP CVD's seem like a cool upgrade, but Traxxas has been using these stock telescoping slider shafts for a long time and they seem to work quite well. They are cheap to replace and will flex a little bit in a crash. They may have even survived your crash ! I thought I may have seen replacement MIP parts in Tower Hobbies, but I could be wrong.

CVD's are just a pain in the rear (like I said above). The pins like to come out, they bend, and I like the stock shafts better. I wish I didn't have CVD's on my Rustler and E-Maxx ...

Ever sense Traxxas went with the setscrew/pins to secure the out put yokes, other drive shafts aren't needed.
