    Jato remote start...done.

In the new issue of x-treme rc car magazine they made a remote ez start jato.
I was really suprised it could even be done....It looks like it might add alot of weight, but having not tried it, i can't say for sure.....still, the possibility was pretty cool.

I'm pretty sure you need a 3 channel radio for it...but if you could pull it off, that would be pretty awsome....can the traxxas 3 channel radio do this ?? ....i should have bought the magazine. They used an Airtronics radio for the mod.

Anyway, i think it requires a soldering iron, a dremel and some small other tools....looks really interesting.

Anyone thought of doing this to their jato?

I've seen it done before with a T-Maxx. It's pretty cool, but I would never do it.
I use a bump box for my JATO. I don't like the easy start because of it's bulkiness. It's always the first thing I remove from a Traxxas R/C. I like to be able to remove my engine in a few seconds and the easy start hinders that.
