    Stupid Shock Question

    I have a question regarding shocks. Ok, you have your normal type shock that uses spacers (stock, big bores, etc) and then you have you're threaded style shocks. Why wuld I want one over the other? Is it just a matter of preference? To me it would seem that threaded would be the way to go. Any thoughts?

    it doesn't really matter - all either one does is adjust the ride height. the threaded shocks have smaller adjustments you can make vs. the spacers.

    i'd be more concerned with cost/durability/performance...
