    charging questions.

when discharging batteries, what should the voltage be. I ask because when ever I discharge my batts my 977 discharges one to 5.0v and the other to 7.22 volts. My other question is, when I plug my batteries into my charger my 977 reads 5 cells all the time, never 6. All my batteries are 6cell packs. Thanks

right now im discharging my batteries, my 977 discharges them to 4.98 volts, then they jump back to 6.82 volt. Is that normal?

Oh, thats because the batteries will have a higher voltage when not under load.

If you just read the voltage of the pack, it will be rather high. However, subject it to some amp draw (a few amps) and it will quickly fall to its normal rating. Heavy amp draw, like 50 amps, will drop it pretty low.
