Look at the motor. There is a + sign where the red wire connects. The other is for the black wire. Some have red dots on there too. That would be where the + goes.

yea it will cut down on the weight quite a lot but i personally like the ez start better. pull starts just hurt your fingers and break the skin if it wont start.

I bought the t-max hand held starter and cut the rear bumper out so it would fit.

I would most def. get a pullstart and a glo ignitor. Ive pulled the wires out of those little boxes 3 times. I am on this 4th box now for the npede and its starting to do the same. I will eventually convert my npede to pull start, rustler will be very soon. As soon as my shipment gets in to be exact.

But its like $15 for the pullstart and $20 for the ignitor (depending on type/size). Thats at the hobby shop, on ebay though you can pick both up for around $5 a piece if your lucky.

Plus if you plan to race it, it will elminate some added mass. Lighter car = faster car.

+1 on the EZ 2 wand. My friend with an OLD T-Maxx bough one off of E-Bay for like 5 bucks. It works great. Just stick it it, push a button, take it out.
