A weekend project ahead! Got me a brand new 45w soldering iron, flux jelly, rosin core solder and a big bag of sermos powerpole's. This is going to be like the old school days of installing car stereo's. I have six batteries to work on, two charger leads and two EVX leads. The only thing that has me thinking hard is to put powerpole connectors on the motors or just to hardwire them directly. Not exactly directly, but splicing the wire from the EVX to the 1-2 inches of pigtail that comes on the motor already. The reason being is I don't want to damage or have to worry about re-attaching the little resistor that's on the motor tab.
Conventional wisdom says that the less connections, the better. But how much better is it? Has anyone noticed a big difference?
