Seriously XA makes a good point. Slaydaddys posts on the Jato forum are as rare as rocking horse manure.

Steve actually speaks from two books, the text of REVO and gospel of JATO. He has laid low all pretenders at the Silver State races with TQ in Standard MT. Brother Battaile has taken the battle of the JATO to the evil duo (Associated and Losi) and has shaken their foundation with his skills while at Silver State as well. Even though the overlords have forced our champions to use smaller weapons (.12 engines) they continue their quest for glory. Reports from the crusades are few and far between.

Our brother Battaile has solidly qualified his JATO in 14th place among the heathen who race their unworthy devil machines against the righteous few. We should reap the fruits of his quest soon.......

Oh man, you guys are killin' me. hah hah!!!

    That's some funny stuff.

There were some changes made to the forum as you know, and I was unable to search for questions directed toward me for quite some time. This left me in the dark as to where I was needed, and since it would take too long to find them manually, I decided to wait until the bugs were worked out of the new message board.

The good news is it's working and I can easily find out where I am needed now.

We just got back from Silver State, and we had a great week. Not the best, but it was a real good showing.

I managed to nail down TQ in the standard MT class, and Mike Battaile was running solid all week with all of the pros that you read about in the gas truck class. Mike ran my own personal Jato, and I helped him with set-up and such. He just barely missed the A-main after qualifying and then he had the second bump position (out of 4) secured by a long shot, but his left rear tire came undone from the rim on the outside. This made it hard to keep pace. At the end of the race he had dropped to 5th, and charged hard to get back 4th position only to come up a couple hundredths of a second short at the finish line. It was a crazy race, but these things happen.

I will have the set-up that we used for the Jato as soon as I get the article for the race put up on the site.

For now, feel free to ask me questions about the Jato set-up and stuff.

Thanks again for your interest. The Jato has been working great at the races.

Yes Brother,How we have waited for thee'.''Associated/with Satan, and the other unspeakable Losi connection have been trying their best to bring you undone o' great one...Tell us travelling vagabond what you have seen in the so-called silver states-who speaks unkindly of our beloved JATO?The overlords have made law you run the smaller thundermaker engine .12 as their weapons are far inferior to our special factory guns....How is our chapter competing against the fire breathing heathens????We wait patiently for the new chapter.Lead us not into temptation O' young Slayden...Your subjects await..Tell us all....

    Slay,
I used your Bash setup from RCAA a couple months back, and am having a hard time with it switching to second, if I really lean it out I can get it to hit, but now we are pushing 300 degrees, so I can't have that, I tried adjusting the shift point a little, not much, but that didn't change anything. With the lower gears should I adjust my shift more? And did you have to adjust yours at all? Or did you go without the 2speed like on your racing setup? I got the lower gearing and the Moabs, same springs, same toe, most everything is the same as what you have in the article.
