Nostradamus was the ****. He figured out a way of using patterns in life to predict the future. Most of his stuff was inaccurate, but the accurate stuff was kind of interesting.

All you folks say is jesus this and jesus said that. Or jesus is the only way. You go to church one day and you hear the pastor preaching the words that he had read out the book that jesus had wrote. He preaches on and all of a sudden you believe him. What I dont' get is how can you sit there and say that Jesus actually wrote what is in the book today. Do you have any physical evidence that Jesus had actually wrote those exact words that's in the book? You have religions such as catholics, christians......etc. Jesus was living on the land they call Islam, not america. But then you have skin heads preach about gods name and god wasn't even white. To top it off, there is no such thing as white. Your'e mixed with some kind of race that kept your skin white. When those people had came to take over this land, exactly what nationallity did that? This was the original land of the Native Americans.

I will give $250,000 to any one who can give me any real evidence, just 1 piece, that evolution is true. That whole consept is BULL , how gullable you must be to believe you "evolved from a Rock." besides even if religeon is fantasy what does it hurt, it brings order, good nature, and it better safe than sorry. geeze a stinken ROCK

Personally I don't believe that Nostradamus could see anything. Most of his predictions never came true.

Nobody said that humans evolved from a rock. You ignoramus! You don't look at the evidence before you start to criticize people! I'd like to extend the challenge to you as well: you can have $250000 if you can prove that creation is real. Don't post some quote from the bible, either. I want some hard proof.

personally i'm a christian. beliefs are just that, they are things that you have faith in. christianity has NEVER been proven false. if you actually research this topic (colin) you will discover more people have turned to christianity that were previously athiest evolutionist AFTER researching the bible and the validity of it.
if we want to believe in gullability, evolution has the proof in the pudding. things that go from no order to order will once again turn into nothingness. i don't see myself turning back into a lizard, or **** even a protazoa.
just to clear things about how the bible came to be but jesus didn't actually "write" it....God put the words he wanted to be written in the hearts of men who then wrote "the word of God".

After re-reading I realized that quote wasn't even written by Nostradamus. It was written by a guy who was analyzing Nostradamus. Quote taken from the site:

Well let us analyse this. For Example what does City of God mean? It could be Mecca, Medina, Rome, Jeruselum, Salt Lake City, or any holy city depending on your religion. What do I mean by thunder--a storm? War? EarthQuake? lots of stuff can be described by thunder. There are a lot of two brothers on this world (I think the Number runs among the Billions) and fortress edure's what--Besiegement, Famine, etc? What Great Leader? How will he succumb? To what?"

Why call us lost is what i wonder? Just because we don't do as they say cause god said this. If god was to put words into a mans heart to know what he is about and stuff, then why can't god put the answers to my questions in my heart. There's all these religions talking about which religion is right. Now that's BS, I can stay home and pray and know there is a god and still be saved. Why do I have to come to church to do that. But I tell you one thing, I consider myself spiritual and not religioust. I sin just like everone in this message board. There is no one perfect in this world. We all have sinned, but yet we ask for forgiveness. Some people say you must go to church and ask for forgiveness. But what I think is that some church wants you to come cause they want your money. This whole **** world is controlled by money and will always be controlled by money.

Just my 2cents, so if anyone is offended by it....................live with it.

P.S. I'm catholic and yes I believe in God and Jesus our lord savior. There are just some things I wonder about and would like to know answers to! And there is also things I don't like seing what is happening!

If anything deters your faith in god this should. Thousands dead. Chaos. Jesus certainly saved my Grandma from Alzheimer's, my Grandpa from Parkansan's, my uncle from being shot, and the thousands of people dead in the twin towers. If there is a god, he is one sick person (of lack of better word) By the way, there is no proof that any religion is true, They were all created a long time ago to answer questions nobody knew the answers to. I tend to believe what we have proof in, and we have a **** of a lot more proof in evolution. I'm tired of being badmouthed for what I believe in, you're all so brainwashed I can't voice my opinion without manditorilly being shot down. It's an imediate "your wrong" I don't care what you believe in. It doesn't bother me. It's just that my opinion can't be voiced becuase I don't believe what you believe in. I'm done now.

not getting all defensive and shooting people down, but colin, god forgives for our sins when we ask him to and i dont really worry about sinning because i know i will be forgiving, well thats what i believe.(ok now stating in general). everyone believes something different so just leave it at that and let then believe what they want to believe, its not right its not wrong its what they believe, accept it and live with it.

Well check this, I'm catholic and I attend a Methodist church that's across the street. But I only go to church my heart says go to church, and the reason i go to other religions church is try to learn there beliefs and see the difference on how they worship god and all!

For the record, I am a Roman Catholic. Now, for the controversial stuff. While I believe in the possibility of a God, I had other issues with my religion that just didn't set well with me. One was the whole "repent and you shall be forgiven" thing. I find it hard to believe that you can go and rape some old lady and be forgiven as soon as you say sorry. I believe that your religious worth is not rated in how many times you go to church, but rather in how you behave in society. In short, is the world better off with or without you? I have attended churches from almost all major religions, read books by the Dalai Lama, and discussed religious differences with my multi-cultural group of friends. It has been my concensus that there is no right religion, and no wrong religion. Religion is a tool that we use to better ourselves. If God makes you want to be a better person, than do what it takes to be with Him in Heaven. If Buddah makes more sense to you, than live a loving and peaceful life as He would wish. If you believe in Allah, then good for you. The only problem I have with religion is when people use it as a crutch for their own sick beliefs (I like to molest children, so I'll create my own religion where it is "purging the sin", and therefore good), or when they use their own religion to downplay others beliefs. In short, let's just all be a little bit more understanding of each others beliefs. They are no more right than you, and you are no more right than them.

Thats sad that you think we all come from nothing-zero and all of a sudden an explosion (out of nothing) came and made our universe, how can nothing become something. For all you non believers and Athiests just watch 1 of Kent Hopeland's videos. They converted me. Just watch ONE, he has like 9. Ohh, that fossil time line is BS, the only place that exsists is on paper. Thats all circumreasoning. They date the rock by what fossiles are in it. They date the fossiles by witch layer they're in. Circumreasoning. All the kinds off dogs all had one common ancestor........a dog! All the different kinds of birds had one common ancestor......... a bird! All of the different kinds of cats had a.... well you get. All carbon dating is real BS. If different species look similar or have similar trates all that shows is they all have a common designer, God. If you think that there was no way the flood could happen, the Bible says says that the "fountains of the deep" as well as the huge amount of water that once covered the atmosphere, only had to cover a flat world(with hills). The Grand Canyon was not made by a little water over a long time but a lot of water over a short time 3 or 4 days posibly. Just watch one video and its still stands as $250,000 to some real proof. As of the $250,000 you owe me Colin, They have found Noah's Ark and Jesus' grave before He rose, they have found Jesus' shreud (the cloth they rapped Him in), Danniel has predicted all of the chaos that is here. And that some good proof for a 15 year old.

this is a question for Colin and any others who feel that way. have you ever read the bible? i once beleived the theory of evolution but since reading the bible with an open mind i was changed. there is a lot of evidence that what the bible says is true...something that cant be said for evolution. and if you do something and simply say sorry without truly being sorry, you arent forgivin....god is omnipotent and omnicient. in the end it's all about faith and nobody can change you but yourself. good luck and god speed to the rescue efforts in New York city and at the Pentagon
