    snow action

so its been in the 50 around here and we got some snow and I took it out in the snow and the snow would get stuck to the front tires and would just collect there and keep going until i went on pavement so i now wd 40 works on mud but work on snow to?

I have not tried this myself but in theory it should. WD-40 is a water repellent. (Water Dissipation formula 40). That is why it works on mud.

I would worry about what it would do to the tires. My problem was always having the chassis fill with snow!
Wish I could find my pix of my Bottle Pede! Took a 2 liter soda bottle, painted it with flames and stuff and cut it to fit around the chassis. Totally snow free and totally bizarre looking! Tires still filled with snow though.

A couple years ago i heard if you switched the direction of the tires that they wouldnt gather snow, im not sure how well this works but its what i read on here a few years ago, worth a shot atleast.

like a snow shovel , if u store it indoors the first few scoops will stick till it gets cold , , so set the truck outside for a bit before u run and let the tires get cold , the snow should fly off then

    Snow tires

I did a ton of research on this, even getting into surface tension of snow. What I found that worked really well was the mini-tire chains or zip ties on the tires.

Otherwise Sand/Snow paws do a great job in harder pack snow, however they are dinky tire compared to stock tire and provide zero floatation.
