anyone ever used auction sniper?

I used it once. If you only bid on auctions occasionally, then don't waste your money. If you bid alot, it can come in handy. Keep in mind that there are many other people doing the same thing, and if you set your max price you would be willing to pay, the auction will keep bidding for you.

i use on all the time and it works great but as stated before, if you only bid once in a while then don't waste time and money but if you bid a lot as i do then yes get one, the one i use is "super sniper pro" and heres where you can get it, its not free but it was well worth it for me

Thankfully some auction sites have implemented new rules to head off snipers. Everybody just loves last second bidders.

what kind of rules would those be? how could they enforce it? and what site is doing that?

fwiw, i am my own sniper. have 2 windows open...one with my max bid already typed in and ready to hit enter....the other to refresh and watch up until the last 20 seconds.

D'OH!!! i just gave away my secret!! LOL! and alot of this stuff is stuff you guys may want too!

a few days ago, i did this same sniper method, and lost with 5 seconds to go. item said $15 with 20 seconds to go. i had already typed in $22 and i hit enter with 15 seconds to go....it told me i hadn't bid high enough! so i hit refresh on the other window....auction ended at $23!!! went from $15 up to $23 in the last 15 seconds!! i left that auction, and instantly found an identical item with a buy it now price of.......$23!!! LOL! it had only been listed for a few hours! shipping was even identical.
