I use to run my jato more than 500 feets and suddenly I can't run it more than 100 feets away what do you think could be the problem? thank you in advance.

could be a lot of things. receiver or transmitter battery is low, you're running in a place with interference. your antenna might be cut somewhere, some internal circuit problems with either the tx or rx...

the antena seems to be ok, it's not broken and it's well atached to the radio TX, the battery is new on the jato I bought the battery pack for the jato for the same reason, I thought it could be the batteries but it still not solving the problem, when I lost the signal in about 100 feets I have to get very closer(about 10 feets) to the jato.

all i can think of it interference... also make sure there isn't any metal to metal rubbing... cuz that will cause noise and interference... try moving to another location far away from where u were before...

Put fresh batteries in the Tx and recharge the Rx battery.

Do you have a failsafe incase of runaways?
