If you are talking about yourself, congrats! It's gotta be so hard to stop smoking. Just keep on trying!

    Thumbs up

    Many congratulations!
I heard in 7th grade that 1 cig = 10 minutes off of your life. So wouldn't you save about 4.2 hours of your life? Even better!
Six in a row makes it go.

    Question

Congrats, but why'd you start in the first place?

Why did I start? Heck, I dunno. I was 17, got a job, all the older people that worked there smoked, my dad smoked, his dad smoked....of course, he had a stroke, too. (My grandfather).
I was in the Air Force for a few years, all my friends smoked.
    Take your pick.

18 hours, 1 minute and 45 seconds. 26 cigarettes not smoked, saving $3.28. Life saved: 2 hours, 10 minutes.

Keep at it Volfan. I know how hard it is, i still can't give them up fully. Put the money aside u would have spent on smokes for something u really want, it does help.

Congrats on the quitting. Putting the time into perspective like that will feel like forever tho'. Wait a few days then do the math. It will be easier that way. Wish I had the desire to quit.

I've used various methods to quit. The best so far has been Nicorette. I tried the patch a while ago, but couldn't do anything about the cravings. This time, I'm using the gum, and if you get a craving, you can chew a few really quick. It actually works. It get's easier after about 36 hours, when the nicotine is almost out of your system. It's been about 3 months for me now. Good job.
