Just got into the hobby quality cars last spring. This is my first. Love playing around with it. Have only had to replace an a_arm, camber links and the bulk head. Lets just say curbs don't agree with high speeds, but you live and learn. Just finished my first paint job. Here are the reults, not to bad for a newbie:

This is my jato . Has rpm blue arms. Alum. Shock towers .integy piggyback shocks . Hot racing dual brake kit. Red turn buckles .but I broke one so put an original back on lol .. also has blue bumper.and pro line tires that's about it.

Here is my 2.5 27 MHZ Jato that is going on 8 years old.
Upgraded to TRX 3.3, Slash Shocks, Red Turnbuckles, Anacondas, Steel Shafts, Motor Saver Filter, RPM Arms front and rear, and Traxxas Tuned Pipe.

My Mamba Monster Jato. 26/34 gearing on 6s lipo. The tires baloon too much to go full speed to clock its top speed. It has some aluminum parts and steel cv cvd's. I used my rustler's front hub assembly to hold on some sand tires and paddles on the back. I have it locked in 2nd gear. It is so heavy that I had to use 4 shocks in the back and 2 springs on each shock. It still bottoms out easily.
I took it to the beach yesterday and within 10 second of light driving, It completely stripped the second gear. So now I am converting it back to a 2-speed transmission.

This forum won't let me add a picture from my phone or else it would be here. Got a 3.3 jato rpm arms all around WITH sway bars(just need small zip ties). Trx bump pack battery, heavier springs, proline edges on front caliber on rear, trx alloy rear axle hub carriers, steel axles and gears, rpm front bumper, relocated easy start wires to the rear bumper, transponder, and most important of all, the lightweight steel race body. So i recently picked up a Jato 3.3 and really like it. After break in i did a few mods and now am in the process of tuning it. So i added a little bit of bling but then again it's not a racer or basher. It's just for fun out in the yard and street where i don't take my Savy XL. Now that i see how much power i can generate, i will be upgrading the drivetrain 'clutch, gearbox and, diff'. As can be seen i have Badlands installed as the Anacondas are the suck on my assphalt out front. Looking forward to trying some Road Rage. Am still waiting on some more parts including gears and sealed bearings for my brake idler arm. Overall i am very pleased with the quality of the car and parts i've installed. I have had to glue the wheelie tires multiple times so i fear i will be losing some of those. My only real complaints so far with my setup is i can not fit the roll cage with the GPS module installed. I'll have to have the cage modified. My biggest complaint with TRAXXAS is the Anacondas are the suck and though the telemetry with the transmitter is way cool, this transmitter weighs a ton even before i put a phone on it. My FlySky It4 'with telemetry' on my Savy feels like a feather in comparison 'and it has a color touch screen built in'.
