Thats a very nice truck. But if you are completly new to R/C then you could also buy the Nitro Sport, I have one, and i like it (also got the T). Very Very good beginner truck. Easy to tune, 30mph, and you can upgrade it to the Rustler. I would recomend the Sport to a beginner basher, but if you plan on starting to race right away, and you dont mind tuning the Rustler then i would go ahead and get the Rustler. This is what you will need:

    1. 1 gallon of gas (Traxxas Top Fuel 20%)
    2. After Run Oil
    3. Glow plug wrench (Try to get the ones that will hold the glowplug in the socket, believe me this is a time saver.)
    4. Extra glow plugs (McCoy, either MC59 or MC9, depending the coldness of your environment, Colder environments means you should use the MC59, hotter then the MC9)
    5. Fuel bottle (Dynamite makes them)
    6. Phillips screw driver
    7. Small flat head screw driver
    8. (Optinal) Motor Saver AirFilter
    9. (Optinal) Fuel Filter
    10. Extra fuel line
    11. Extra Zip-Ties of different sizes

All that should get you started pretty good, if i am missing anything then please go ahead and post.
Nitro, good 'till the last drop!

n.rustler is good, sport would be easier to start out but if you catch on quick then get n.rustler because by the time u buy the mods to get sport up to n,rustler speed it costs a lot more the the initial price difference

Good idea, once you master it just get the pro carb and itll go as fast as the n rustler.
    There's no replacement for displacement.
