Question Help with tire set up, Proline Gladiator II's?

    Hi everyone.
Some of you may know me from the T/S-maxx section. I own a Stadium maxx and I have been really interested in the JATO since it came out. I have decided with help from my LHS that it would be a great way to start getting into the racing setting of this hobby.
So in a couple of weeks I should be getting my JATO (need a little more money ). This will be my first stadium truck and I am not clear on a few things. First off my hobby shop owner suggested getting Gladiator tires for dirt and the occasional pavement run because the wear very well. Has anyone here had any experience good or bad with these particular treads? Also this may sound dumb but for just bashing on my track and street should I put Gladiators all around or get different tires for the front(edges or blades)? Will the edges and/or blades hold up on pavement?

Thanks a lot guys and I'm sure you will be seeing more of me in this forum in the next few weeks.

I've got a set of Glad's on the rear and Edges up front and this is the best combination.

I'm running Edges and Gladiator IIs. Great combination. I haven't run them much on pavement so I'm not sure how the Edges will hold up on it. I do plan to run them on the road some and will be interested in seeing how they do. I think Edges and Gladiators is a great tire combination.

    I love my Jato!!!!!

my brother runs edges up front on another brand truck, and they hold up surprisingly well on pavement. He runs almost entirely on pavement, and they have outlasted bowties, and he's now got some dirtworks. the edges are still in reasonable condition.

Thanks for the replies. I think I'll go with Gladiators in the rear and edges up front. Thanks again guys,
