Good to know they are not at the zero level of caring. If they cna care less, that means they still actualy care! That doesn't quite line up with being extra bored wen the subject comes up, so perhaps your ex and your freinds that are girls are on two different levels.

My girldfiend has, well, hmmm, nothing R/C. Although i am getting her interested in full size cars.

Last year at school, the one girl that lived in the apartment below min always came up and hung out with us. She loved my r/c cars. I would come back from class and she would be running it outside my apt... lol. No she wasnt my girlfriend, just my friend.

Anyway, shes hot, likes cars, especially large lifted offroads 4x4 trucks, (Yeah, shes a redneck girl), loves to hunt, and is a very good cook.

Oddly shes single, if i were single as well, i would definatly be going out with her. Maybe its just me, but I like a girl that isnt afraid to take the jeep out back, shoot a deer, clean it, and then cook it for supper that night.

Anyway, my current girlfreind is awesome in her own ways, i wouldnt trade her for the world. Been together for 4.5yrs, we both just graduated college and are looking for jobs, so we hope to be engaged soon.

She will run my trucks sometimes, she wont admit she has fun running them, but they can never hide that smile on their face when they are holding the controller.

my most recen g/f called them little toys. i have a few big toys also and when ever i would say truck usualy refering to my 55 chevy my 04 ram or my 2.5 maxx she would ALWAYS ask me is that your toy car or your real one. i was like just forget it.there was this one chick in the 10th grade her dad and her built chargers. and she was like WOW beautiful it was too weird talking to a girl about 454's and body work. so yea we hung out all the time but we never went out. i just never liked her that way its weird. but i guess like they say opposites attract. lol

Yeah, I was uneducated and bought the dynamite twin peak charger, because it was the only one that had at good ole, Hobby Town USA. Don't get me wrong, it's a great charger, charges two batts in 40 min, but I had no idea, how much was out there. I did manage to buy GP3300 on my first purchase, so that was a plus.

Any girls complaining about this hobby...try to have a girlfriend and stay in this hobby without going broke. Girls demand mucho dinero...so do r/c cars, the only plus of r/c cars over a girl is they dont nag at you.

I know a girl who can consitantly put in laptimes around a second of my own on agven day. She's fairly good, but just doesn't have the copmetitive drivet o go that little bit further I do. Fun to race with, but her public road driving scares me away from her. I've seen her drive through a redlight when she thought there was no one watching, she didn't she my car right behind her. I couldn't bei na dating relationship with someone who drives like that, driving safety and having respect for road regulations is a high priority with me.

We're thinking of heading out to a track agian shortly, should be fun so long as she gets there without getting hurt.

I like the former, but not the latter. There is a distinct difference to driving crazy, and loving to race. Many mistake the former for the latter. Its not so, a racer races with respect for others and the rules, someone driving crazy(breaking the rules of the road), has no respect for the rules or others, and thus I don't consider it "racing", more a passion for driving fast. I have a passion for driving fast and racing, most of the tiem the racing wins out, and I keep within the regulations, once I've made a move into 3rd and stepped on it for a second in tight corner, then dropped back. Had to kick myself real hard for it, and haven't done it since. The racer part asaid that wasn't right, the drivefast side said do it again. I try to keep the racing part stronger.

Something that didn't occur to me until recently though, is if a person can't respect the road rules, how can they respect me? There has to be respect in a relationship, so I've never moved beyond freinds.

So basicly, I want to be and act lke a racing driver, not an imitation on the roads. As such, I drive on the roads like I'd like to on the track. Very precise, very alert, respecting the racing regulations, and getting there as quickly as I can or as econmicly as I can within those regulations. When I'm driving, I'm either going for getting there fast within the speed limits, or trying to coax as much fuel econmy from my old sports car as I can. Whatever my choice, I enjoy driving eiher way. Its hard for me to pass up a trip.

No...lol...I bought two batteries...and I drive my truck all the time. I actually like working on it a little bit more than driving it to be honest. So, when I shifted into second gear for the first time and hit that darn mail post and broke the front bulks and front skid plate, I was excited to get my new GA bulks.

I have a great respect for those who can race. I thought driving the truck was going to be the easy part when I got into this hobby. Boy was I wrong! Working on it is easier for me than driving. I'm learning as I go, that's the fun part.

the only plus of r/c cars over a girl is they dont nag at you

How true is that...I mean I don't understand why girls have to be so naggy. They just can't understand why you would want to spend so much money on something they don't find interesting that's all. My girlfriend is cool with this though, she even built me a jump and takes mini video clips with our digital camera. She even built me a workstand. She drives occasionally, when I let her...lol.

actually if u like working on your truck more than driving you would love racing. when i go raing at the track i have to tune to the track and i have ppick diff shock oils. you run electric so you would have to adjust your slipper, ride height, choice of tires. racing is allot of fun and it def makes you a better driver. you wont even go about 2nd gear if your racign cause thier r constant turns. also depends on the track setup. ive only been in two races but on the 2nd i came in 3rd . i also race in 1/10th gas oval and my car is a nitro rustler 2.5

I would love to try and race some time. I am about an hour away from a couple of tracks, but I haven't had a chance to take a look. I might look into it next year, I need to practice a bit more first. I'm just having fun trying to do jumps and bash around. I definately need to upgrade my servo though, well many things really. I know the emaxx can kick butt on the track stock but I'd like to upgrade a little.
