If you have a problem starting the bike after it gets hot from rideing. Let me know. I have been thinking of getting a 250F to bash around with. But allot of people that I know that has them say them they are hard to start even when following all of the steps to get it going.
Are you going to race in the 125 class?

the 4 strokes are kinda cool,i have a YZ 250 2 stroke, i smile every time i jump on and twist it ,i let my cousin ride it once i almost had to peel him off so i could ride it myself ,he thinks he is the next Jeremy Magrath (hi Chris!!!).

les, you wouldent believe the power of this beast. it has to be the ultimate MX bike ever. it will KILL a 125, YES KILL. it might even keep up with a 250. actually les i have no trouble starting the beast if its cold or hot, it dosent matter. i actually dont even touch the hot start button when its hot, starts right up without it. you know the drill probably-kick it until it hits TDC(top dead center) pull the compression release in, then go a tad past compression, then give it a hard kick. it starts everytime. LES what do you think the most essential hop ups are? handlebars? chain? thanks les

KTM's are really good, but parts for them are so **** expensive. Thats America for you. I have a 1994 Honda CR 250, and no offense Dirt Bike Kid, but my bike will beat the SHlT out of your bike. I have 12 grand invested in it so thats why., Besides, ur bike would not kill a 2 stroke 250. Otherwise it would race with them. I have beaten a XR600 on my bike. And it was like 1999 too. I love my bike. Its so beautiful. I will try and get pics later.By the way, the first upgrade I would do is exaust. Get urself a nice FMF package. I would say the FMF Fatty pipe with a Powercore 2 finioshing it off. Thats what I have on mine. Sounds so **** sexy. Im gonna marry my bike.

I like Honda better than Yamaha. Especially their XR's, very reliable four strokes. You dont see too many 1970-1980 Yamahas anywhere, or atleast i dont, thats becuase their engines are junk, I have a 1972 Honda XL and it still runs, starts very easy too, and it hasnt had a rebuilt ever. HONDA ALL THE WAY!

hondas are great i have a 1972 sl 175 and some 1980 three wheelers i had a 77 xr75 i never had any problem with these now i am getting a 2002 cr 125

hey dirtbiker, shows how much you know about dirtbikes, there isnt a fatty pipe for the 250, actually there isnt even a pipe on the bike. before for talk ****, make sure you know your stuff. and its virtually impossible to put 12 grand into your bike. please list what you have on it
