    Angry Diferential leaks!!!

I´m goint to tell you my Jatos's diferential story. It was delivered to my office at about 12:00, I look at it, inspected and turn the rear wheels to see how the diferential worked. I put it back in the box and borught it to my home. That night, when I was free to give my Jato a closer look, I found that my gear box was wet, as well as my rear suspention, I inspected the shocks but they were OK... It coud only be the dif... I took the diferential cover and found that everything inside was full of oil, I took my dif housing apart and gues what? No oil inside. The housing and the seals look OK. I remember that when I was giving it a look at my office, it made a strange noise in the rear, like if something had loosen. I cleaned the housing, the shafts and seals, fill it with oil and this is the second day without a leak. I think that one of the X rings got stuck and when I move the rear wheels, it got out of the groove, leaking the oil. If this happends again, I will have to replece the housing. Am I the only one with this problem???

Since the problem started before you ran the jato, if it happens again call traxxas, they should send you a new one under warranty. They are usually good like that. Make sure you registered the truck also, preferably online.

It's a defect in some Jato's, mine had it, and I was one of the first person to get the Jato from tower.

Called up traxxas and they sent new seals over quickly,
