What brushed system should I get?

I'm looking to get a brushed system for racing (in heats that do not allow brushless) that would be equal to the 5800 system in power.

The 5800 is equal to a 10 turn motor. Never had any experience with any though. Here are some.

Big thumbs up from me,but if you want a good non expensive one then get just about any ESC from NOVAK that does not have Rev.

for the stempede you really dont wanna go under 14 turns because the smallest pinion i could find was a 12 tooth and the pinion should be two less teeth than the motors turns

Hes running ST tires,so gearing it will be easier.
The problem with Pede tires is they are all ready geared up because they are taller.

If you want something comparable to the 5800 and you want to race competitively, I strongly suggest you get a handwound.
