    Anyone have Gorillamaxx chassis?

Hello peoples, does anyone in here have the Gorillamaxx G2 chassis on there rig? I've been looking at that chassis and really want it but I need to know how it performs first. And how good is the customer service at Gorillamaxx? Do they have a replacement plan like RPM or similure companies? Whats your guys opinion? Thanks!!

i got one! it's in my signature.

Though it's been long sold (not b/c the chassis, but i got offered a pretty penny for it and had to take it!), the CF chassis is the best CF chassis on the market! My truck handled a lot better, and kept the power on the floor.

So who makes this CF chassis? I seen a clear plexiglass lookin chassis but don't know who makes that. It looked alright, but I really like that gorillamaxx set-up though. Did you have any problems with it, and did it do ok bashing vs racing?

Gorilla makes both an aluminum and a carbon fiber chassis. There are both exactly the same exce[t for material.

Xtreme makes a CF chassis too, but I don't know of anyone who uses it.
Some things are just meant to make us wonder.

check out www.rc-monster.com forums. The people tend to bend them alot, they really keep their forum "clean," they delete all the posts with "i broke this gmaxx part" stuff. But there may be some laying around the forums. These arms tend to bend alot, and with no real performance gain other than a minor flex elimination, they really don't serve a purpose other than bling.

I think I'm just gonna go with the G2 CF chassis. My main goal is to lighten up my truck. Once I get my brushless system in and get some Li-polys along with that G2 chassis she should be alot lighter and durable. Wouldn't you say there zeflis?

I bent my first generation G3 suspension arms but the replacement G3 arms (Beefier A-Arms) have been holding up fine with flips and tumbles at high speeds.

My Super G-Maxx is pretty quick for a 12-14 lb monster and holds up fine with the G3 Arms

I have a Gorillamaxx - Very low CG, and very very tough. It landed some 10 footercartwheeling and the shocks were bottomed out - no trouble at all It looks really nice as well

I've got the ALU G-Max. I like it a lot. Ask anyone around here and they'll tell you I have the worst luck with breakage/malfunctions around. The G-Max is the ONLY thing I've never had breakage on. I only run stock suspension though.

Thats all I'd be running just the chassis with my HV-maxx system and stock front and rear assemblies. I'm thinking about the CF one though I want to shave all the weight possible from my truck.

Yes I would, Your truck needs to go on a diet. It does do well on the track with the nitro's. I still think you should have raced with them
