Remember microwaves are not equal. They are like nitro engines.
    100 watt = no engine
    250 watt = ancient .10 engine
    500 watt = cheapo .12
    ...skip a few..
    1000 watt = FR27.

I used to have a 1000 watt microwave. It was a pain though, you always had to cook everything WAY less then what the package said. If followed, the times on the package will turn the food into something not edible. And that junk popcorn button has never worked for me, on any micrwave ive ever used.

its cause that was like your 6th or 7th pointless thread that day, and people where getting irritated at you.

    back on topic:

I've always been partial Strawberry Pop-Tarts. Frosted. IMO, unfrosted Pop-Tarts aren't Pop-Tarts. Anyway, I saw some Hot Fudge Sundae Pop-Tarts, but haven't tried them yet. They look very promising. Has anyone tried them yet?

Did you know that the filling is flammable? Well, at least the filling in Strawberry Pop-Tarts is. I don't know if they all are or not. Be careful that the handle on your toaster does not get stuck when you are toasting your Pop-Tarts!

Overpowered microwaves are a pain to deal with. In my kitchen, there is an opening/shelf in the middle of the cupboards specifically for the microwave. The design is great, it makes it look like a built in microwave, but allows you to use a free standing one. The problem is the size of this opening, its too big. If I was to put a smaller (i.e. normal sized) microwave in this opening, it wouldn't fill up the space, and look funny.

The only microwave I found that fit the space perfectly, was a 1200 watter. Let me tell you, 1200 watts is overkill for what I use a microwave for. I warn Everybody that comes over about how powerful the microwave is, yet I've lost count of how much stuff friends and family have burned in it.

At lease the popcorn button works good though.
