    Question Stampede won't change to 70/30

    I've had my stampede 4 about a year running on 50/50 so the other day i swicthed it on 70/30 tuned throttle trim all the way to the right and it still goes bacwards very slowly

    When you make that switch you have to reset the ESC.

    if you have the XL-1, you need to take it out and adjust the nuetral adjustment screw. the manual explains how to do this. if you have a different ESC, its manual should explain how.

    i dint have to reset my esc, i have the xl-1, nd when i switched to 70/30 theres was a HUGE difference, with the stinger motor on 70/30 i wooped mi lil bro's t3 with a speed gem in it
    xxx-nt: peak racing .12, gpm blue/yellow shocks, proline dirt hawg 2's, rpm slingshots, all graphite, etc etc; e-pede: razorback quad body, masher 2k's on agaitators, soon to be all aluminum

    then you've got one freaky XL-1. i don't know how you managed to not have to change anything, cause when you switched to 70/30, it should have been going in reverse. and switching to 70/30 shouldn't make a huge difference in speed, it should only give you more precise throttle control. (and yes, i have tried this)

    I have also. It's true. I don't really see much of a difference in speed, but the throttle control is more "fine tuned".

    i could go to both with all 3 escs ive had and not have to reporgram esc and i did it with the stinger and the speed gem 19t arcornite motor

    and to me i didnt notice any diffrence in the power from 70/30 and 50/50

    There shouldn't be any difference in power. It simply allows for finer throttle control in the forward direction.
