new matched batts possibly false peaking?
I got a pair of matched gp3300 6 cell pack batts. after the 1st few runs when I recharged my packs the charger read exactly 3300 on the display. now one pack charges properly while the other stops all over the place. the 1st time it stopped at 1208 while the next time it stopped at 1809. I haven't glued my tires yet so is it possible that the wheels are spinning more on one pack than the other causing one batt. to drain more than the other?

Your batteries work together to give both motors 14.4V, and the trany is a single output shaft for both front and rear, so that would definately not be your problem.
Whats your charger?

oops. I have the Duratrax Pirahna digital.

If they are fully discharged, ie your maxx is moving slow at the end of the run. Then when you charge them one stops at 1800 it is false peaking. They should be slightly warm when finished charging. Just start the charger again and don't charge longer than one full time frame, ie if it took 45min to charge them fully the first time(or to 3300) then don't charge them longer than that.
just keep checking and see if they are warm, then pull them off.

one charger..two batteries...hummmm.....try swapping the batteries.maybe one of the TAMAYA connectors(assuming that they're tamaya's) may be not making good contact...that'll give a false peak indication on the charger..................just a guess...
