    Jato or Stadium Maxx?

I am thinking about getting the Jato (WHENEVER IT COMES OUT), but then I started thinking about the stadium Maxx. The lowest price I see for it is $319. I assume the jato will cost a little more then that. What are your thoughts on why I should go one way or the other?
I don't know why I am having a burning desire all of a sudden to buy a new nitro?

I've had a few T-Maxx's and just recently sold my last one. I've got a nitro rustler and savage with a sh .28 that I use for bashin'. The jato would be cool since its brand new and probably FAST, but the stadium would be nice for an inexpensive price and I could get some of those little panther tires (save weight) which wouldn't be much bigger then the jato tires. Put on a larger CB and it might be close to jato's speed??

    It's hard to beat a S-MAXX.

Just so you know, the little Panther LP's aren't ROAR legal. And if you race at a club level, people might not like you a lot.

No, haven't used them. Plus, if you do get them, you have to change your gearing a lot, I think that 22/66 makes your gearing almost stock.

    absolutely disagree with that statement,

The Jato is not going to be just a race truck, heck out of all the people who will buy the jato I bet only 10% of them will race it.

The Jato is a mid level basher, and the s-maxx is a higher level basher. They both will do well on the tracks but yes the s-maxx is a better basher.

Out of the TRAXXAS cars, that aren't REVO's, the JATO is going to do the most damage on the track.

Agreed. I can't predict how well they'll do against Losi and AE trucks, but I'll bet they'll do better than anything else Traxxas makes. And look at the design. So much of the innovation _seems_ to be race motivated. A basher really need not have a-arms that long.
