    hello all,

I'de just like to say how fantastic traxxas models are. I love them. It was a beautiful day here in south wales today so I decided to take the revo for a spin. It was absolutely brilliant. I really enjoyed it. What do you guys think of your traxxas models. By the way, I'de like to thank all the traxxas engineers for designing and building the worlds most superb vehicles. thanks traxxas!!!!!

    I 3rd that

    and even more.....

I have my Revo 4 months now.It is my first traxxas model.
I was "watching" traxxas for some time now,and it amazes me the techology they put in their models. when the Revo came out I just couldn't resist and bought one.

back to technology... the Revo ...t-maxx ....etc. we all know about them by now,
but check out the Nitro Vee (traxxas nitro Boat) it has a patented RTS (Return-To-Shore) emergency power system.
I'm sure others have thought of this or a similar system too,but who has actually put it in their model other than traxxas?

i agree too. excellent ideas to bring monster truck racing to a new level. cutomer service is a little on the impolite side, but the truck makes up for it.

I AGREE . The customer service is on the impolite side.

    Example as below :
    Dear Traxxas ,
When the Revo bashing , the bumper will remove COLOUR from silver to black colour. The look not so good.

Do you consider use the Silver colour plastic raw-material or black colour bumper for the market ?

    Regards
    Lawrence

    Hello,

I am not sure what they considered. Bodies will always take damage and start to look used when you bash your truck. I keep a show body that I do not run so my truck can always look good.

    Best regards,
    Stephen Lindholm,
    TRAXXAS Customer Service

For the above conversation , i just make the suggestion to Traxxas.
I felt their feedback is impolite/not agressive. So i never use the Traxxas customer sevice again. May be i'm not U.S. resident.

Ya gosh darn right Traxxas is fantastic.

Lawrence, I honestly have no idea how you consider that reply impolite?

What did you expect them to say?

"Dearest Lawrence, thank you so kindly for your inquiry and thoughtful insight..."

They're customer service. Their job is to read your question, answer it, and get onto the next one. Traxxas is a busy company, they have lots of consumers they need to answer promptly and in my experience Traxxas has always answered my questions, been polite, and done me right when their product fails to meet their own high standards. Though, I havn't needed to contact them as of late.

He answered your question quickly and simply, that's exactly what he was supposed to do. What you intended as a suggestion he probably understood as a question due to a language barrier. (No offense to you at all, your English is much better than my Spanish)

I did not think traxxas gave you an impolite response either. They are always very helpful to me and Steven Lindholm has helped me out a countless amount of times. They give you free parts if it was a factory defect and help you with everything. I have never had an impolite comment from traxxas. I think that their customer support surpasses that of every other r/c manufacturer. Keep up the good work traxxas! Products and Support are A+ Quality.

    Agreed.

Quite frankly I feel Traxxas is in the top 5 companies I have dealt with for customer support, period.

I thought my rustler was tight but when I bought the revo, my opinion of Traxxas really went higher. The Revo handles so well and is a tough little rascal.
All I got to say to Traxxas is keep bringing it ! Excellent !

dont be sorry, cuz i still have problems with them. i got a half hour lecture on me "not knowing the expences of this hobby" after i told him in it over a year. i would tell you his name and the sidenote which isn't a nice name. every time i call them i get a hard time with it, and my revo is barely used and in excellent shape. it's to the point where my next nitro may not be traxxas. i think after spending well over 1k on two trucks i would get a little more respect, esp being 19 and supporting my own hobbies, along with the rest of my hobbies.

I agree I don't care for the CS much either, had a traxxas villian boat that kept taking water. The CS told me I was doing something wrong over and over and was arguing with me when I new there was a hull seal problem he just wouldn't let it go. I called back and got someone with half a brain that patiently listened to what I had to say, but still had no real fix for me on a boat that cost 300 and was in the water twice, I was to pay shipping etc. back to the company for them to look at it, sold on ebay a few days later... Own a Revo now but don't really think of Traxxxas as my support base, rather Towerhobbies, ebay, and my LHS...
