It's just the position of the servo. Adjust the throttle trim on your radio. You should be able to turn it all the way down so the brake goes on but doesn't effect the idle. Likewise, at the normal setting it should be able to idle without the brake catching. You just have to play with the servo and linkages a little bit.

It sounds like its more of a linkage problem. What you should do is set the servo settings to the middle, and then adjust the brake linkage so the correct amount of brake is there for idling (none to barely none) and full brake.

None to barely none is a good starting point. If you still have problems with them locking up when you apply brakes (brakes very sensitive), you can take off the left rear bulkhead so you have access to the calipers on the brake disk. Then you will back the calipers off slightly to increase the distance between them and the disc. This helps reduce overall braking. If you have a radio with expo, you can add some - expo to the brake instead. It will desenensitize brakes as well. Finally, a lot of racers including me, like to run with a little brake at neutral instead of no brakes. Set this last and do it with the lock collar against the spring on the brake linkage. Just adjust it so the brake is slightly engaged at neutral. Readjust to your liking. I usually set it so that I don't need any brakes at the slowest corners, but my overall brakes are set so that at my fastest corner, I can go full brakes and slow enough to make the corner smooth. Of course if you are bashing, you need a little more safety factor, so set them to where they don't quite lock up the wheels. Hope all this helps
