    Need Help

    I want to get a t maxx 2.5 and im not sure weather to buy a brand new one or a used one. I dont know if this being my first one would affect what i should buy, but i would like everyones imputt. thx

    What is your money situation? If you can afford a new one, I'd say get a new one.

    I could afford one but it will be summer before i have enough cash. I kinda want one a little sooner.

    i would say wait, cant do much driving in the winter anyways.

    If you break in a nitro engine in the winter, it will be harder to tune in the summer. If you're planning on doing most of your driving in the summer, it would be best to break in the engine when it's warmer.

    My suggestion, since this is your first one, would be to buy one new. Very often buying used stuff means you are getting something that has worn parts, is not stock, or is just plain broken.

    Not to say that your experience is bound to be bad, but in every case where I have bought used, I have never gotten full documentation. Especially buying off Ebay. I don't particularly care for buying things that way, because you cannot examine anything prior to purchase. And if it is not what you expected or what was claimed, you have no recourse, you just got taken. If this is your first T-maxx, lack of documentation could be hazardous.
    It didn't have enough power... so, I rewired it!
