    WaterProofing

I have a Traxxas Stampede Venom 17 turn motor and a 3000 dyna-mite 7-cell battery, stock ESC and brand new HiTec HS-625MG super Torque servo. i want to go threw at least 5 inches of snow. what do i do to waterproof my truck?
i've heard of balloons.....Does that work?

Just came in from about 8 inches of snow, and my truck had a blast. I just waterproofed my truck a minute ago. i used balloons for the transmitter and a 2-liter bottle molded to fit around my ESC. Works Great! No Traction thow...

I used hot glue and RTV.

I used that same method on my S-10 and I've had it 100% underwater.

I have some pictures and they are not so good in view. my camera sucks but ill post the 2-liter bottle tonight. just make sur it does'nt touch the ESC or'll it will melt. and keep some distance from it to release heat.

I am going to try dipping an ESC and see what happens. If it works you should be able to peel it off and repair the ESC if you need to unlike with epoxy.

My duratrax 16 turn intellispeed is up for the job
