i was going to do it but then i figured it would break too easy sence it sticks out so far and has little to no room to flex

I use rear Maxx skid plates for my front bumper and rear bumper/wheelie bar.

Can't wait to see how it looks. I am already thinking of useing a RPM skid plate. Not only will it be good and not break. IT WILL BE BLUE

I'm going to stick with my rpm bumper, it's saved me many times so I know it works. Maybe you could attack the maxx bumper onto the front skidplate, then it'd stick out far enough.

Those dark wheels are dishes (like the front one in the 1st pic).
I dremeled them out and just left the 8 braces. Then painted them metallic charcoal; then painted a white rim. I think they look pretty decent.

The rear Maxx skid plates are nice and firm, yet give enough in a crash without looking goofy (IMHO) like the RPM one does. It also does a nice job of protecting the front of the alloy chassis when you bottom out.

If you dont run into stuff a t-maxx bumper would be really cool. You could make an RPM one fit to match your a-arms. Well, My a-arms. Once my truck is runing again i might give it a try.

They're light and strong. When this color chips up and the tires wear out I may go with red.

I used the drill looking dremel tool to do most of it and then used the conical shaped one to give them a cleaner look. Started out just cutting out every other one but that wasn't cool enuff so I went all the way.
