    Nitrous injection? unbelievable......

Look at this auction on ebay:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...914742340&rd=1

    quote taken from the auction:
"Watch as your RC JUMPS to life, your exhaust note gets louder, more smoke blows out of your exhaust, and your RC rockets off like never before!!! "

More smoke blows out the exhaust, cause you just fried the motor.

    Check out this quote:

    Quote from auction:

" We have NEVER had any damage that was caused by nitrous oxide!!!

If you inject too much nitrous oxide it will simply burn a glow plug, and shut your engine down before any damage occurs!"

You would be burning a lot of plugs.
    Got nitro?

that is just a waste of money. just like superchargers, boost bottles, and any other stupid thing that says it will boost your engine. bottom line. buy it if you want to buy a new engine every week.

We have NEVER had any damage that was caused by nitrous oxide!!!
...of course I'm sure that excludes the motor running too lean due to the extra air being injected into the motor.

I've examined the "nitrous" concept, and the "supercharger" concept. So far I haven't found anything that makes me believe they're worth it.

if u want nitrous, boost bottle, and a supercharger, i say just go with a better and faster engine that will give you the power you want(not enough to strip your tranny gears, just enough for the rustler to take) imagine this
    Supercharger 189.99
    Nitrous- about 90(not from ebay
boost bottle- about 20?? im not sure
Just with the supercharger, you are better off buying a new car
Nitrous, if it is about 90.00 you are better off just saving about 40-50.00 more and you can get a new engine this is all IMO

have you gone to jag rc. com? it looks interesting, and they ay, becuase your engine revs so much higher, you get 63% more fuel so it never leans, i wonder if anyone has tryed a nos kit/supercharger and boost bottle, as for the supercharger, they are made for low compression motors, rc cars simply have too much compression

hmm that might be something to look into.
people who are running engines that are nearly dead as in have low compression, might try a supercharger. i mean the engine will be toast soon anyway. it might help not like im ever going to try that

I've seen the claims, but I still refuse to believe it. I see several issues with what's claimed. Just because they said, doesn't mean it's fact.

the fuel deal makes sense... with the extra air in the engine.. the would be a extra amount of exhaust pressure, so with the xtra exhaust pressure comes extra fuel... the supercharger looks like it really would cram more air in the engine... but how much no one knows... boost bottles dont really give boost, they allow more crankcase area for more even pressure or something... but not boost

There's more to it than just "more air equals more pressure". Plus their "research and development" is a little to garage-oriented for me. The vidoes look like nothing more than someone running at 1/2 throttle, then going to WOT.

If someone else wants to take the risk, fine by me. However you won't see it on my trucks.

Not really, once you look at the impeller design.

It looks cool but you will never find one on my car because I'm not going to risk frying my engine.

Actually... I think it exploded due to the NOS being in a compressed tank. I don't understand how NOS isn't flammable, but yet 'boosts' the engine.
    Hello

it boost the engine by forcing a large amount of air in the engine.
