    Suspension Pins?

I bought some suspinsion pins for my pede and I have a question. I got the #2639 Traxxas pins for the rear and they were two differant sizes. One fit and the other one wasn't even close. Am I missing something here or what? I live in Wisconsin and was in Kansas City to vist family and I bought the parts in K.C. If I get a hold of Traxxas will they send me another pin? Thanks

Interesting, this is the second instance of something like this happening. The first time I thought it was a "discreet re-labeling" of opened products by a LHS, but now I'm thinking it's a production error.

Call 1-888-TRAXXAS, we can't help you on this one.

The package was sealed and I didn't even think to look if they were the same size. I'll call Traxxas tomorrow and see where that gets me. Thanks

this is the second instance of something like this happening
make that a third:i bought some stub axle pins part no. 2754 as it says in the manual but they didn't fit, the diamiter was to large and they were to long. I was in a hotel and i threw away the package they were in so i couldn't return them. I have saved all my packages from things i bought 4 my pede except 4 the 1 i needed no big loss tho they wern't expensive. In the end i just made my own pins. So either the manual is wrong or.........
    production error
or packaging error seeing as they all were the same size.

OK, I called Traxxas and told them about the problem. The rep told me that I should use the 2640 pins all around and not the 2639's. I went out and pulled one off the front and compared it to the short one I got with the 2639's and they were the same size. So, the 2640's will not fit in the rear. I'll pick up another set tomorrow. Atleast I have a spare pin for the front.
