    27mhz vs 75mhz is there a difference?

    My freind has a mx-3 but it is 27mhz is this better or worse than the 75mhz? Please an answer I have to meet him to see if I buy it.

    If given the choice I would choose 75 Mhz. The only real reason is the channel selection that's available though. 27 Mhz only has 6 frequency channels available, while 75 Mhz has 30.

    Either way, you'll need different crystals to access those channels in the respective frequency ranges.

    I switched to 75am,,just seems 'smoother'..Cant put my finger on it..just like it better
    Stampede, novak 5800, rpm bearing carriers, alum idler,steel output yokes, masher 2k,seb widen frt end, Rustler w/ novak 5800 on the way

    when you go from from 27 to 75 mhz, you get less interference and a little more range. move up to fm, and get even less interference and possibly even more range. go to digital (which starts at over 100.00 ffrom my understanding ) and you get virtually no interference and possibly even more range.

    i would allway get glitching from my mini-t stock radio (27mhz)then i went to a $70 75mhz radio and had no problems sence.

    When running the novak, I had no glitching with the stock radio, but as soon as I swich to 75mhz, I had TONS of glitching. I thought it would be the oposite.

    novak makes geat products. when you switched you might have not bought the greatest transmitter/reciever?

    Bought the Novak XXTRA Thats the best one that I know of... The glitching has gone down, I think I got a bad set of cristals or somthin cuz when I put a new set in it still glitched but not enought that it couses a problem.

    The reciever you linked to doesn't use crystals...

    I just bought a Futaba 3PM on 75mhz and have had no problems so far..Oh wait thats because I still need to set up the break linkages on my gt and do a test run

    I agree you are really starting to BUG. In another thrend you said a body fit purfectlly and it was a t-maxx body then someone gave a link to a stampede body and you sayed the stampede body was the one you were talking about. Please STOP putting WRONG information!!!
