    Shock Springs

OK....I have been reading so many posts that I am cross eyed!!! I am wanting to get new shocks and if I do, I am going to get these Duratrax Also the rear Duratrax But I think I'm going to just go to Misbehavin's site and rebuild the stock ones. What springs should I get for each set-up? I bash a lot on the street, some grass, and sometimes go to the local track (dirt). Also, jump a lot (read that as real high and real far daily) and go run by the sand drags ( in the sand, obviously ). Here's my set-up: Novak ss5800 (I have read a lot of posts on the Novak- I love mine, and a little glitch an part throttle no matter how far I am from it, I haven't noticed any distance limit yet-over 100 ft) 7 cell 1900 NiCd, geared 84/18, aluminum idler, packed differential, and running on Masher 2K's.

Oh, are those the ones that I read about that leak??? And if so, any fixes to stop it???
Masher 2K's, aluminum idler gear, packed diff, and Novak ss5800 on a 'pede!!! Novak ss5800...and all else is stock??? So...I live on the edge :D Ok, got bearings now! Scratch that...GOT A REVO!!!

You will have to experiment with different springs on your own. You will probably want firmer springs in the front though to get better jumps. If you still have the stock springs, you will probably want a lighter spring to make it perform better. Although the Rustler is a different chassis, I thought I would mention that I run Losi orange 2.9 rate in the front and Losi red 2.5 rate in the rear

I got these springs for the rear, and used the stockers up front.

I like them because the bring the rear right up to the height I want and do not sag.

I later performed the "wide pede" conversion and went with Duratrax yellow dual rate springs up front, but still got the blue ones on back. I run the Novak BL system and like the handling that the stiffer springs provide.
