    Traxxas 1/8 Buggy!

Does Traxxas have any plans on releasing an 1/8 buggy? Traxxas has every field of land RC covered, but oddly enough no 1/8 buggy. Why not?

Traxxas WE WANT AN 1/8 BUGGY!!!!!

Now that it's in the right place, i can answer. There is a 1/6 scale Monster Buggy, and the 1/10th scale Bandit. Would you rather have a 1/8 scale electric? or nitro? personally i want an electric.

I'm talking about a real 1/8 scale buggy. Nitro all the way. Something to put Traxxas on the scene of an entirely different aspect of the hobby. Come on Traxxas, break out the engineers and bring us an 1/8 NITRO buggy!

1/8th scale 4wd buggy. I so agree. after seeing all the "race like" features on the REVO, I think Traxxas could make an awsome 1/8th scale buggy.

I always thought the Monster Buggy was 1/8 scale until I saw the comparison in the Traxxas catalog that it is 1/6. Know I know why it's called Monster Buggy.

Yeah but the monster buggy doesn't count. That's in a league of it's own, somewhere out there on Mars.

1/8 Nitro Buggy. Take that engineering ingenuity from the Revo and bring up the most advanced buggy out there. And ****it make it .21 and up, not the 2.5!!!

I also agree, I believe traxxas could knock kyos** off the podium. I like the 9.5 violator but it is too much like the inferno so don't build it at all similiar to the other buggies. I would love to see traxxas come out with a 1/8 scale that is totally different from everyone else's with all the goodies at a price that would attract everyone. Don't go with the similiar prices of the other buggies or everyone will still lean towards the veteran players.

I doubt they will come out with a new engine and only put it in one vehicle. I know they did this with the Monster Buggy, but then again they don't manufacture the MB's engine (do they?). So if they were to come out with a big block it would probably bring a new series of cars/trucks with it that come stock with the engine which could take a while.

They should have made the new Revo a big block instead of fitting it with that horrible 2.5, but that's another story and off topic. If they bring out a big block engine, they could put that in the 1/8 buggy and then work it into 1/8 onroad cars.... either way, an 1/8 buggy from Traxxas would be a very welcome breath of fresh air, to say the least.

they could make a .21 and offer an "unlimited" version of most of their nitro cars, just think a .21 revo, out of the box

They would have to develop a .21 engine. Traxxas is good at seting new standards. Gather up some data and make an 1/8th scale buggy. Poor in some 30% sidewinder and go kick some Kyosho and Ofna rear! WOO!

I hardly doubt that traxxas could come out with a buggy for the first time and even make the Kyosho drivers sweat. They have been in it way too long and have too many championships to be worried about a new traxxas buggy.
