Just pulled my new Nitro Sport outta the box.

I gave it a quick look over at lunch. I noiced the large spur gear wobbles. Is it suppose to do that? Also, is there a way to lock the rear so both tires spin together? I also noticd the tiresa re really spongy. Do I need to add foam or glue the stockers on the wheels?

Horsepower is how hard you hit the wall...
Torque is how far you take it with you.

I know you can lock the rearend, just not sure how. Doing that will make it handle poorly.
The tires should already have foams installed, just make sure you glue them to your wheels.
Not sure about the spur, make sure the slipper is tight enough.
Sorry I could not help more.

The spur gears wobble. Don't worry about it. I didn't use foam in my tires, but glue them on if you don't want them to fly off. I wouldn't suggest locking the rear axle. The differential has saved mine from breaking gears many times.

The nitro sport don't come with foams just wear the stockers out. Then when you need new ones they will come with foams..
If you can't fix it. Smash it with a hammer...If that don't work hit it again...

I would try AE 300k Diff lube to tighten it up. If that is not enough you can pack it with silly putty for lockup similar to LSD. And if you really want to go for it, pack your diff with JB Weld for a fully locked unit. However the JB Weld is permanent!! You will lose turning as you tighten up the diff.
