What are you after?
It is all about application and what you want YOUR Max to do. I have been doing a little research on this, I am thinking about converting one of my E's into a 2wd. The wrong way to do it is to just remove the drive line from the tranny to the front diff. To do it right, you first need to gut the entire front drive train to the wheels. Second, put proper tires on it, notice the difference in tires between the sport and the E-Maxx tires, those EMaxx tractor treads are just not good for 2wd. Third, realize what you will gain and what you will lose. The 2-Maxx won't climb and go through the thick stuff like a regular MAxx, but it should be faster. Also, you might need to play around with it a bit to get it ballance right. Of coarse there is a bit more to it.
