Those look pretty real to me!!! AWESOME!!! I have heard in the past that a manufactorer or two were producing working scale replicas of larger engines. That is too cool!!!![]()
looks like a model car to me
How does it start? Where's the receiver? Where's the servo?
I did do a search!
I have seen one of two of thoose in person at the LHS. They arent cheap either 400 bucks or more if i remember correctly. The details in the photos dont do them justice see one in person its like looking at the real thing.

Nova Mega Big Block SX-15 EVO4 MS T powered Rustler enough said.
if you go to the alcad website, they have that car separate from the rc models, i think that it's just a model car with EXTREME detail, but I could be wrong
I did do a search!
id have to agree with rmhawk looks like there is now way of starting?controlling it if it does work i think it's just a REALLY nice model, but who knows these days![]()
If it were fake er model why would there be dirt on the tires? I'm sure they push it around the shop for fun. Ha ha ha, anyways if I'm correct there is a start motor in the last photo, and maybe he has one large carb under the hood. Just a guess though
Warrenties..Who needs em? Its not like its gonna break.....ops Project: Twister ETA Spring
I don't see any dirt on the tires. My guess is it's a very nice model. I've seen a lot of models that are made to exact replications with tons of small details.
Ben
Its definitly a model, whether it runs or not is another story. It is possible, remember that guy that made the fully funtional model of the ferrari.

I've seen DOHC inline 4's, to supercharged V-8's, to Ferrari V-12's.
Unfortunately, in order to afford some of these engines, you'd have to sell a kidney.
Here's a link to a realvideo clip of two radio controlled cars powered by Conley V8's. One is an old Ford coupe, the other is a gorgeous AC Cobra (note the shiny velocity stacks poppin' through the hood, makes me drool).

(YES - That IS a radio-controlled model car!)

Now I am a believer! That is wicked! Look at the detail on both cars, besides the engine. WOW!
Ever notice how it's a penny for your thoughts, yet you put in your two-cents? Someone is making a penny on the deal!

Dude the vid show it all. You can see the intake flaps moving every time he hits the throttle. It is so sweet!

Hmmmm how much does a kidney go for these days?![]()
RC cars are chick magnets with reverse polarity.
oh the sound, no RC engine will ever be so sweet again, there is one problem 13 grand is too high, im pretty sure you can buy normal motors for cheaper but who cares, id love to hear those engines hit some r's, hear one of them eally get movin, did you see the ford when he jabbed the throttle the chassis twisted from the torque,
I know the other ones were kinda gigundo; here's something a little smaller, but still packin' 8 cylinders in a V.

If it is tho, you could have a new block machined for it at a local shop and make yourself one bad lil' scale RX.
