Those look pretty real to me!!! AWESOME!!! I have heard in the past that a manufactorer or two were producing working scale replicas of larger engines. That is too cool!!!

I have seen one of two of thoose in person at the LHS. They arent cheap either 400 bucks or more if i remember correctly. The details in the photos dont do them justice see one in person its like looking at the real thing.

if you go to the alcad website, they have that car separate from the rc models, i think that it's just a model car with EXTREME detail, but I could be wrong
    I did do a search!

If it were fake er model why would there be dirt on the tires? I'm sure they push it around the shop for fun . Ha ha ha, anyways if I'm correct there is a start motor in the last photo, and maybe he has one large carb under the hood. Just a guess though

    ?????

I don't see any dirt on the tires. My guess is it's a very nice model. I've seen a lot of models that are made to exact replications with tons of small details.

Its definitly a model, whether it runs or not is another story. It is possible, remember that guy that made the fully funtional model of the ferrari.

There are a bunch of guys who build working scale model engines

I've seen DOHC inline 4's, to supercharged V-8's, to Ferrari V-12's.

Unfortunately, in order to afford some of these engines, you'd have to sell a kidney.

Here's a link to a realvideo clip of two radio controlled cars powered by Conley V8's. One is an old Ford coupe, the other is a gorgeous AC Cobra (note the shiny velocity stacks poppin' through the hood, makes me drool).

(YES - That IS a radio-controlled model car!)

Now I am a believer! That is wicked! Look at the detail on both cars, besides the engine. WOW!

Dude the vid show it all. You can see the intake flaps moving every time he hits the throttle. It is so sweet!

How bad would one of these guys be in your Maxx/Revo?

I know the other ones were kinda gigundo; here's something a little smaller, but still packin' 8 cylinders in a V.

Only rotary i've ever known of was the OS rotary, and i'm not even sure it if really is one; i've only seen external images of the thing, not it's guts.

If it is tho, you could have a new block machined for it at a local shop and make yourself one bad lil' scale RX.
