That's really slow, it's not the tires because I run with 4 mashers with no problem. I'm guessing it's rich, lean it out a bit and it might help

what motor is in the car because with the 2.5 it should run faster than that even if it is very rich. but lean it out.

Throw on some smaller tires. Change the gearing to a 22 tooth clutch gear and a 70 or 68 tooth spur gear. Lean out your engine to the leanest, but still in the engine-safe range, setting that you can go. You should see some speed.

with big tires the top speed would be faster and the low speed is slower so what would smaller tires do.

um 26? maybe your gps is wrong, but you should be way over that. check your rc and engine 1st, then do things to improve speed.

yea if its only goin 26 there must be a problem, make sure its gettin up to speed, the gps is gettin accurate readings, the engine is properly tuned. also how old is it, maybe you dont have a lot of compression left.

put the gps on the dashboard as you drive down the road and compare readings.

i may need to get a longer run at speed. but my rustler has been gettin squirely lately. it leaves range at about 500ft. and then takes off a full throttle with bad results. anyway to fix this? my radio ant has about 6" taken off the top from an accident

500ft should be more than enough space to get up to top speed. You can buy a new antenna part # 2017 to fix your radio.
Tell me you know where the "Search" feature is located, that you used it, and I might answer your question.

are you running the stocker radio? you should upgrade to an FM system to get a more clearer and stronger signal.

My rustler idles at around 30 it seems like. I'd say theres something wrong with your GPS. 26 is just slow. maby your doing kilomiters per hour. Who know. lol.

um idling at 30? 30 what, centimeters per minute? If you are idling at 30mph, there is a problem. Idle is supposed to be at 0mph.

maybe just a typo or gps error

I think your gps is reading kmh instead of mph. If not, then you need to learn to tune your engine. If you know your engine is messed up, or your tuning or whatever, why complain it's going to slow? Pollen shouldn't be a problem, if you can run in dusty areas all day long which what it was made for, pollen shouldn't affect it. All I have to say is, its either a major tuning problem, or your gps is not reading correctly. Maybe your gps could be running on adverage speed to, remember.

Dont worry. lol. That would be scary. Youd have to start your truck with the tires off the ground. then drop it and vroom. It would scare me to death.
