    Mag Mayhem: More Problems.

Ok, I thought I had this thing fixed, and it worked fine for a while. Now, When I pull the throttle, it works fine when going forward, but when I throw it into reverse, it arcs like mad while the throttle applied. I dont know whats happening. And also, I pull the throttle and hold it for about 20 seconds, and I can see carbon already building up on the comm. After a run, the comm is black, but the residue comes off easily. Whats going on here? I am clueless once again.

    Thanks for any help.

Yup, it sounds like you may have gotten some oil on the comm when you lubed the bushings. Try some motor cleaner, let it run until the stuff coming out of the motor is clear. Blow it dry or let it dry and LIGHTLY relube the bushings. Also, when you do this, pull the brushes so they are not in contact with the comm. Clean the surface of the brushes eithr with a comm stick or a pen eraser (they are harder than pencil erasers). let us know if it helps.
