    orion 2r 17tx3 motor

    I i just got the motor and was wondering if its any good,as soon as igot home my esc decided to die so i didnt ge to try it out, i was wonderiing is it good,can u whellie etc good top speed?
    to buy or not to buy. Upgrade?that is the question

    WELL I PUT AN ESC IN AND I GOES LIKE A ROCKET,I DONT KNOW HOW TO GET WHELIES,LIKE HOW TIGHT THE SLIPPER SHPULD BE IM GUESSING ITS TRRIAL AND ERROR,BUT FROM WHAT IVE SEE OF THIS MOTOR ITS GREAT

    I'm not sure exactly what Orion motor you have, they make lots of motors. Some really good, some not. I recommend single or double winds for offroad vehicles, but since you already have it you might need to gear it a little lower to get wheelies. I adjust my slippers to about 1/4 turn back from fully tightened. But anywhere from 1/4 to 1/2 back is a good setting. Are you using the stock gearing or did you get a 15 tooth pinion for it. That's what I'd start with but you may need to go lower if you still don't get wheelies.

    Please remember to turn your caps lock off, you can get warning points for typing in all caps.

    sorry my caps button wouldnt turnoff for some reason(old keyboard)i have a 16t pinion gear again im sorry about the caps to all mods
