can someone help me like currently i dont want to melt these new packs

Everytime i set the settings and charge i toggle through the settings again later and the mv is higher then what i set it at. And also they keep stopping on charge. Are they juiced when you get them? I just got two six cell ballistic gp 3300 today and am having no luck charging them. These things seem like more of a hassle then what their worth honestly. I have been trying ti charge them for almost two hours now. I am using a brain 969 thanks i hope someone can help.

yea most people i know that have used any superbrains hate them, buy quality or buy again as i allways say...

BTWwhen we told you mv it was 4-6 per cell and thats multiplied for every cell your charging. so 4mv at 6 cell is 24mv and 6mv/ 6 cell pack is 36mv

I've sent my superbrain in 3 times and it finally works, but only if I have a house fan blowing on it while I charge my batts(note not on the batts just the charger)

    What batts are you charging?

Formerzillaowner: I would guess something is set-up wrong on your charger. I have no idea what a 969 is or how to set-it up. One thing it sounds like is that you are doing the right thing with your charger, and that is setting the peak detection low. NiMH have a much smaller off-peak voltage drop than NiCD, and many chargers over-charge the NiMH and overheat them. That will kill your pack in no time.

You may want to call tech support for your charger manufacturer and tell them exactly what you are charging and see what their thougths are.

Are the charge amps adjustable? Set the charge amps around 5 and see if that helps.

so i should set the mv at 30 5mv by 6 cells? My power supply is what went. I charged it on my car batt and it worked fine. I did tho have it false peak several times. Im pretty mad right now that i bought a charger that doesnt work right half the time. The gp 3300 are amazing i ran them for over 20 mins last night at full speed up and down the street. And i still had power to keep going. I was very impressed with the additional speed runtime and power. Its like a total different truck. I just gotta figure the charger problems out. thanks
