    Exclamation REG. GASOLINE

I was talking to a guy at a hobby shop{one that i will never go to again} and a guy told me that you can run gasoline in the pede if you mix it 70%blue thunder nitro and 30% gasoline. He told me that this will help keep fuel cost down and will not affect proformance. I think that would be the dumbest thing to do to your truck and dont recommend it. To tell you the truth i dont think the engine would even start and the glow plug would probrably fry. Any body ever heard of doing this stupid act on a nitro engine????

Hey, that is actually a good idea.it would be cheaper.nott just playing because for every gallon you would just save one quart plus it would cost more because you would have to have more nitro in the r/c fuel.

well im about to get a new engine. the trx works but its getting old. maybe you could try diesel with castor oil mixed in. ive seen a kit to run an O.S. 12 cv-x on diesel. who knows, it might work

if i was going to loose my head and try this i would mix diesel not reg. gasoline simply cause diesel has more oils in it so the egine won't melt down. Also with the engine runnin near 300* i would think the gasoline would evaporate before it even gets through the carb..

Not a good idea. I'd rather take my chances with the expensive fuel then screw a $100 engine.

Your probably right there. If it didn't evaportate before it got to the carb. It would detonate in the cylinder before the engine was ready to fire causing some major damage! The TRX operates like a diesel engine and uses compression plus the glow plug to fire. The gas would come into the engine, make contact with the glow plug, and detonate! Detonation even destroys full size engines. That's why it is important to run a higher octane fuel when you have increased compression.
