    Ummm, Whats going on?

Okay, I have a really strange problem involveing the batteries in my Nitro rustler
I use some Pure Energy rechargeable alkinines(spelling?)
and they ARE 1.5 volts each, it says so right on them.
But anyway, I just charged them up, and they died in 5 seconds.
I charged them in the inclueded chargeer, and I've used them many times before
    Whats going on here?
Is it something to do with the reciver(fuel and vibration proofed)
    or the servos(binding?)
    Thanks for helping me out
The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the guy who can't run fast.

My only thought is that one of them might have gone bad.

1.5V rechargeable alkalines? does the battery say what metals are involved in the reaction to produce 1.5V?
    1 - T-Maxx TRX 2.5 - $150 spent on upgrades so far
    1 - Rustler TRX 2.5 - $900 spent on upgrades so far

are you sure that they are rechargable? if not it could get dangerous (explosion, fire)

This is somewhat interesting. The Pure Energy website says that they (the batteries) use something called RAM technology. RAM = Rechargeable Alkiline Manganese. According to Pure Energy, they are, in fact 1.5v.

I have never heard of this before. They say they are only one of four companies in the world that can produce such batteries.

Who knows why they don't work. From what the site says, they should be ok.

Are you using the correct charger? I think I remember reading there were like two chargers you had to use.

He says he is using the correct charger that came with the batteries. I had this happen along time ago with recharbables. Actually Heff hit it right on by stating that one is most likely bad. You did mention you've used them alot in the past. One may have finally died out.

I'm just curious because I've never heard of these, but when you have used them in the past, did they work as well as disposable alkalines? Why does no one else use these RAM batt's? It sounds like they should work as well as my NiMH hump pack.

Sorry - I didn't pay close enough attention to the charger part.
