can't prime my engine

Yesterday I ran into a problem I cant get gas from the tank to the carb. Even if I prime it , it wont take the gas. I changed the fuel tubbing I took off the fuel filter and I still cant get gas from the tank to the carb . I filled the tank up and it just doesnt work. has anybody ran into this problem and can help me out I would appreciate it. The weather is nice today I have off from work I would like to be bashing but I cant. Please help thanks

check for an air leak somewere..........

I had that problem once. I forgot to open my high speed needle. So check that. lol. I'd also check for an air leak.

How do you prime the motor. I might not be getting a good prime. What I do is take out the glow plug then put the car to WOT then put my finger over the carb hole and pull it like 3-5 times then most of the time the motor is prime once gas shoots out hold the car upside down and turn the motor over a few times.

check the seal on your fuel tank lid. if its loose then bend the spring or flip the little pad under the cap. when your gas tank cap is not holding on there tight. then that is a place the pressure can escape from priming.

I realized when I brought my car back in that the engine was moving too much. I started to pull it out and a hole was in the crank case. I just got the new engine replacement plan exactly 2 weeks ago and I have a cracked case what is up with this? well the good news is I called traxxas up and they said that they will replace it with no problem. I am happy because I had nothing but problems tuning this carb maybe it is a bad engine and carb who knows well I am looking forward to my new engine but I need to find new bolts to bolt it down It doesnt come with the engine.
